Work for a living but given a choice I'd rather be a full time musician. been a climber since I was 15, having started in my home county of northumberland. Used to be a member of the NMC and the Kinmont Willies in Whitley Bay. Recently got back into skateboarding after a 40 year break. Falling off hurts a lot more now than when I was 17. Moved to a very dark spot 8 years ago so I could progress with my Astro photography. Unfortunately it's still in Scotland so it's cloudy most of the time.

About My Photography I use a cooled CMOS astro camera (ZWO ASI2600MC PRO) to take 50 or 60 3 minute exposures through either a 73mm or 150mm refractor telescope on a guided mount. These exposures are then stacked and processed to produce pretty coloured images of galaxies and nebulae.
Anything Else We Should Know Spent 15 years restoring my classic MG so i'm spending a lot of time wasting the planet's resources driving it around the countryside. When I'm not working, I can be found playing Bass for a random selection of rock bands and dreaming about being in the hills. Now, at the age of 60 I've dusted off my 40 year old skateboard and have started terrorising the local kids. And at age 62 I finally bought the ford Mustang I've been dreaming about since I was a kid.
