Best Climbing Experience
Wrestling a bear for an engagement ring in Squamish then proposing at Lake Tahoe, learning to climb hard in Frankenjura, first 8A in Silvretta, sampling some of the best of British climbing in the Lakes, being 10 mins from my childhood home in the Peak, epic walk ins and walk outs on moorland grit and sandstone, moving to West Yorkshire and living less than 10 minutes from works class climbing, first climbing trip to Fontainebleau fresh out of school and being taught how to really climb, spending a wet week sleeping under a tarp on a boulder mat in Magic Wood, discovering incredible areas where hardly anyone goes, spending summers in Europe meeting psyched people and sampling world class climbing on all types of rock, sharing all of this experience and joy with my wife and kids
