I started climbing in 1973 with just a handful of easy routes. Recently out of action due to a serious climbing accident and now thankfully on the road to recovery. I hope to get back to leading something half decent next year both trad and sport climbing, but to be honest it would be great to just get out and enjoy climbing again regardless of the grade. An injury free year would be appreciated!!!

Best Climbing Experience
Good question but too many to mention. Epic soloing days on the grit, my first visit to Buoux and Verdon in 1981 before they were very popular are very memorable. I have had great times climbing all over the UK and Europe including the Alps and as well as in the USA. I discovered the paradise of Kalymnos for the first time a few years ago and now can't get enough of it! I still love God's own rock although I am unable to lead routes that I once could solo which is a bit sad.
