Best Climbing Experience
Climbing Monoblock at Pex Hill in a couple of sessions ground up, sketching my way up the relatively easy finish after doing the hard bit, followed by a couple of celebratory pints in Cronton village!
Finally matching that frustrating last slot on 'In Hell' in Parisellas cave for my first of the grade. I must have dropped the last hold over 20 times after sieging this problem on and off for the best part of a year.
A great short trip in late December to Fontainebleau with Laura. We stayed at Roo's lovely gite and got out every day in near perfect cold and sunny conditions where climbing was a joy and everything felt like velcro. I managed to tick off 2 of the big 4 at Cuvier Rempart in a couple of tries, after getting spanked on them in past visits :)
Getting Louis Armstrong done after a lot of effort... Relief and joy!
