After enjoying 60 years of mountaineering in all its forms my technical standards have dropped dramatically but I still enjoy getting out to play. As a semi retired GP I enjoy giving something back to the activity with my knowledge of mountain medicine. I am Hon Medical advisor to the BMC and BMG. I have retired as president but am still active on the UIAA medical committee.
