Moved from Newcastle to Poole 13 years ago, loving it down here but doing no climbing just lots of watersports (dinghy racing, big boat racing and a bit of windsurfing). Miss the Lakes in particular, that was like second home.Location

Best Climbing Experience
First Lakes trip was pretty special - climbing with a single 8mm rope that had been used to haul sacks in the Alps that I bought 2nd hand (along with some bongs!) - Camping up high, hitching - all the stuff I wouldn't dream of doing now.
