Started climbing in 1971 with Scunthorpe Mountaineering club. Started doing the real stuff with Andy Hyslop in late 70s early eighties whilst at College. Got into Match Angling and potholing and climbing suffered. Now climb when I can but at a much lower standard.

Dream of White Horses one foggy morning with my old mate Ian although many good days out with Andy during my college days.

Interests Outside Climbing
Golf (play occasionally) and I am a member of a match fishing club and the Nottingham Piscatorial Society, one match a week in the season. I use my mountain bike when I get chance. I retired on 22nd March 2013 and seem to have less time than I had when i worked.

About My Photography
Now use TZ55 cheap and cheerful but lousy for flare but fits in the pocket for climbing. Use a Sony A6000 for everything else.

Anything Else We Should Know
Climbing suffered due to too much time potholing, fishing and golfing but I still like to climb when I can however successive neck,shoulder and back injuries( and the ageing process) prevent me from climbing to the standard I would like.
