Modern Studies teacher by day. A converted Munro bagger who initially started on low grade scottish winter plods but has developed an interest in cragging, must be getting soft... seem to be feeling the cold these days! More of a mountaineer than a climber but can still be seen hanging off a single pitch crag in summer. I prefer long multi pitch days on classic scottish routes, particularly in winter.

Best Climbing Experience
First "real" winter route - Centre post on Creag Meagaidh. Not that technical or indeed sustained but a great and memorable mountain route that sold me on winter climbing.
