I love being outdoors and have done plenty of white water kayaking, MTBing and walking over the years. I've been an 'occasional climber' for far too many years but, over the last couple of years, my climbing has gained more momentum and is now the hobby of choice when it comes to getting some fresh air.
Climbing time is spread between local walls (in the winter, or when the weather is 'British'!) and crags in the North West/North Wales and I usually climb once or twice a week. Having seconded far too many climbs over the years, I've now built up my rack and enjoy leading trad - the grades might be relatively low, but as long as I'm having a good day out with friends that's what matters to me. The harder grades will undoubtedly come with time and experience.
