Best Climbing Experience
My 1st proper outdoor trad climb at stanage and a friend getting me to do Goliath's Groove. was scary being on real rock and the elements, but I managed to get up it,the beginning of the climb using lay back was fine, but then struggled to get me left leg in.Somehow I managed to get both me feet in and slowly climb with foot after foot.after getting past the crack, there was a nice resting point,as by this time i was gasping for air,as its my 1st time i was amazed i did the crack. After I gained my breath i ventured onto the next stage,a bit of bridging into a lay back and before i knew it I was at the top. I was also sick at the top. I didnt know climbing can make you puke lol. Well that was on the 22/09/2013 .
