I have been climbing for a long time but have not done much for the last few years for various reasons. However, I would very much like to climb more and have been thinking about climbing excellent routes in interesting places. I have a strong trad background on all rock types and hope to revisit those skills. So, I am starting out on VS and will see how far I can get.
Who I climb with is at least as important as what I climb so I am also hoping I can, via this fine forum, meet some new folk to climb with.
I am also keen to train a bit but am time limited to mainly weekends.
I love the mountains, bouldering at Font, sunny sport climbing hols and the idea of gritstone. I have climbed all over the place, had a downright shoddy alpine career and now just want to do great routes in lovely places with sound people.

Best Climbing Experience
There are a lot of great experiences to choose from. Onsighting Left Wall on the Cromlech was the business. Doing Aura on Craig yr Ysfa with a raven flying beneath me, Bloody Slab on Cloggy was awesome, autumn trips to Font and lovely sunny 6bs on Kalymnos. I could go on and on but what I really want is to make a whole load more memories in the near future.

Favourite Climbing-Related Discussion Topic
Beta specifically on routes I want to do or might like. Info on routes I personally need to avoid. Info on new interesting areas to visit. Stuff about grades, nostalgia trips and general climbing debate, not really.

Anything Else We Should Know
I am utterly feeble when it comes to strength. I have no power whatsoever. This is partly due to my health condition and partly I think I was just destined to be feeble.
