Best Climbing Experience
My first climb at Pembroke.
Abseiled through a blowhole after Emma Twyford and James McHaffie on to a rapidly submerging tidal platform at Mount Sion East. All the HVSs had climbers on the first pitches so didn't set off until I was ankle deep. The route (Spacewalk) turned out to be one of the best I've ever climbed, despite topping out next to a high explosive tank shell. Talk about a baptism of fire!
