Climbing since 1982, mostly rock, been lucky enough to climb in some special places and with a lot of great friends. Even more lucky to work in the outdoor industry. Also a fell runner and therefore caught in the eternal training trap between climbing and running; can never get the balance right.

Best Climbing Experience
Too many to pick just one. Early experiences in the Peak District; time in Yosemite; first ascents (esp the on sight ones); Old Man of Hoy; leading both my first E6 and 7a+ routes aged 50. It's the people you're with, not the routes you do though...
