Now retired, a born again rock climber, skier (piste and touring), fond of long winter stays in the Alps. Born in 1949, so I am as old as rock and roll.

Location
Cumbria

Best Climbing Experience
My best week's climbing, and I have done a fair bit around the world, was a week on Mingulay and Pabbay, full sun all week, lots of climbs including 10 new routes. Best route ever was Via del Fratello on Piz Badile, 1st or 2nd Brit ascent.

About My Photography
Used to have pix used in adverts and published in mags, including a front cover of Mountain, cover of Paul Nunn's writings, Andy Pollit's book etc. Proudest of pix of collapse of Eliot's Downfall in 1979. Also worked on climbing films (The Edge and other stuff)
