Occasional climber.. I was much better at 15 than I am now!

Very out of touch with the climbing world these days. Still love it, would still consider myself a “climber/mountaineer”, despite not having touched a crag in nearly 3 years. Still accumulate kit like I’m planning a 6 week expedition….

Climbing is an “as and when, spur of the moment” thing for me now where as it used to be a “live it and breathe it” kinda life.

Only climbing buddy I fully trust is miles away and busy with work so it’s always a brilliant thing to constantly look forward to.

I try to stay up to date but if you put me on the spot Chris Sharma is still the best sport climber and James Pearson still climbs in Wild Country harnesses with hundreds of gear loops!

Best Climbing Experience
Wales is my favourite place on earth. St Mary's, Isle of Scilly has some good memories and that time Johnny Dawes gave me and my mate a crash course in balance before he started a lesson at our local wall.
