Climber and (mostly) mountaineer with 40+ years of experience of which 25+ years of Himalayan experience.I do sport climbing on mostly single pitch routes with my family - wife and adult children.
I do mountaineering often as a guide almost all over the world but most often in the Himalayas or in Africa.
Author of 14 books about mountaineering and climbing most of them written in my mother language Danish, but I have published "Baruntse - above 7000 meter in the Himalayas" in English.

Best Climbing Experience
Ascending Broad Peak 8047m, Gasherbrum 8067m and Cho Oyu 8201m - all of which without using any kind af sherpa or other support and Cho Oyu solo all the way and not using any fixed rope.
