"No Hills Hampshire!"
Best Climbing Experience
The first time I climbed 'real' rock at Polldubh / Leading my first Trad climb at Tremadog and not falling off / Looking at a route and thinking to myself 'You've got to be bloody kidding' and then surprising myself by doing it / Oh and standing out in the rain on a windy day (preferaby somewhere high up).
Getting ices axes for Mother's Day from my kids.
Climbing in the Ecrins (quite days and classic routes on ice) and finally learning to ski (1 day instructions from snow plough novice to blue runs!).
Going to Greenland in 2007 - sitting on a Pulk, looking at the mountains and thinking to myself, am I really here! The silence was complete. The landscape beautiful. The only downer was being evacuated out early after loosing the feeling on my left hand side! That wasn't in the game plan, but life is about experiences and stories - I just don't want too many to end up with a trip to hospital.
Favourite Climbing-Related Discussion Topic
Expeditions, the weather & new gear (I'm a girl - I like shopping, just not for the 'normal' stuff, thats all).
Interests Outside Climbing
My kids, my dogs, my other half Tony (not necessarily that order). Watching cheesy family films and really low budget disaster movies.
About My Photography
I'm rubbish at it. I just point and shoot. Very rarely I might take a picture that's remotely passable.

Anything Else We Should Know
I cannot cook. My kids have been brought up to think that carbon is an essential ingredient in all cooked foods.
I was part of an all female expedition to Greenland in May 2007.
