live on Cheshire/Staffordshire border - convenient for The Roaches/rest of Peak & Snowdonia. Lakes quite manageable - willing to go almost anywhere though.
summer ML trained Sept02 - been hillwalking since i was a scout - been involved in taking scouts/venture scouts into the hills for about 10yrs.
want to get in plenty of practice before ML assessment at some point in future, particularly wild camping & night nav.

SPA trained 1999 but did little consolidation due to difficulty finding climbing partners. Have done a couple of 5 day climbing courses at Plas-y-Brenin and have picked up the climbing again this year (2005) and just repeated SPA training in Sept05. Been supervising scouts/venture scouts top roping for around 10 yrs but now concentrating on personal climbing.
Have a passion for Everest - books, films etc & trekked to base camp in 2000 - Brill !!!
i'm pretty easy to get on with & have a GSOH
