Long-term mountain-botherer, into scrambling, walking, winter mountains. Started doing some easy climbing again in 2004, and love it if it's easy - which is just as well as I don't seem to get any better... Main interest is doing classic mountain climbs that I won't fall off. Father of jbird on here, who is more ambitious than me - but then he's a lot better too!Location

Best Climbing Experience
Most of it! Some good days at Tremadog in spring hail, Corvus in spring sun. Mont Blanc de Cheilon in late summer, Innuendo on Stob Coire nan Lochan topping out into afternoon sunshine and amazing views.

Interests Outside Climbing
Music - has to be really good, anywhere between Bach and Radiohead. If not outside I'm usually enjoying my piano, main interests are 20th century piano works, and lots of chamber music with friends who can't understand the appeal of mountains and rock! Oh, and dog-walking.
