Boulders (Cardiff) is my local centre but I climb with people from Summit (Trelewis), people from Overhang (Carmarthen) and the Gwent Mountaineering Club. I am confident at cleaning sport routes and know a limited amount of trad. One thing I'm not so good at is remembering which routes I've climbed, so my Logbook isn't the best. Perhaps the most important thing for me is remembering the trip: when was it and who was it with?I enjoy climbing because I do not spend much time looking at what the pros are doing; for me it's just about competing with my personal best or even my best last week, and the sociable element of meeting others who enjoy climbing.
