Best Climbing Experience
Climbing The Rostrum followed all the way by Dean Potter on my last day in the Valley. Climbing Half Dome in a day with my mate Ben, after bumping in to him randomly. Pulling out carrot bolts and getting soaked whilst climbing the Totem Pole. Blasting up the Cassin route ahead of about 20 parties with my girlfriend in perfect weather. Climbing savage slit in perfect conditions after a 4hr walk in chest deep snow. Soloing Malte Brun and Aiguille Rouge in perfect weather and not seeing a soul in 5 days. Climbing the North East Buttress of Angels Landing in Zion despite taking half the day to start the route and the scariness of climbing a vertical sandpit, saving climbing the Rasp until it was well within my grade and still getting a full body pump, climbing Darkness at Noon in the pouring rain when everyone else was in the tea rooms or pub, climbing new routes in an untouched sandstone gorge in a remote part of Western Australia, watching my mate Simo take the most ridiculous whippers off various routes on the North Wall of Mt Buffalo, and still go back for more! etc, etc................the list is practically endless. I love climbing!
