Mountains in Alaska in 1995. Or maybe my first trip to the Alps in the summer 2006. What with the getting hit by lightning on top of Badile and getting a helicopter ride down. Nothing like an epic for a first time.

Anything Else We Should Know
After some confusion I thought that I should clarify my username. It's pronounced "mah/rez/ia" and is my nickname at capoeira. It's Brazilian for "calm sea" or "sea air" etc. not a girl's name - I'm a bloke, sorry to disappoint those chaps expecting to see the profile of a tasty female climber.
