Best Climbing Experience
Solar Slab, Red Rocks, Nevada, a 10 pitch 5.6 trad climb.
We arrived at the park gates as the opened at 6.00am, starting the hike in at 6.40 and were heading up the first pitch by 8.00am. We overshot our agreed turnaround time of 2.00pm by half and hour, but reached the top and finished rapelling by dark, leaving us only the walk out by our head torches. Arrived back at the car at 8.00pm, exhausted but happy.
