Retired at last. Still managing VS on a good day, and still finding new routes on my local sea cliffs.I have been lucky enough to climb in the Alps, Canada (summer and winter), Alaska, the Himalaya and the Karakorum. Never managed South America, but not given up yet!
Several years in RAF MRT and a few call outs with local teams in Scotland have made me very unjudgemental I hope!

Best Climbing Experience
Still having them after 50 years of climbing. Perhaps doing a new 12 pitch route on sight in the Bugaboos, which we graded E2 at the time. I did it with a close friend no longer with us.
