I’ve always tended to mix climbing and fell running, enjoying time spent doing either. I enjoy climbing in the mountains, on sea cliffs and failing that a gritstone edge will do nicely. I also particularly enjoy travelling Europe and sport climbing seeing different venues and places.

I can see the merit of all climbing disciplines and just look to constantly get out, enjoy my climbing and keep improving.

Had a bit of a break due to the birth of our second child which coincided with lockdown but am keen to start training again and working back up through the grades…

Best Climbing Experience
So Many:
Climbing Polish granite in Sokoliki and Janowice.
The limestone sea cliffs of Pembroke.
6 weeks of climbing the beautiful rock in Finale Ligure & great multi pitch routes around Arco which followed 5 days exploring the climbing in and around Athens.
Alpine climbing in fantastic positions coupled with beautiful sunrises and alpenglow.
Crisp cold days climbing continental water ice.
Those rare Scottish winter climbing days where conditions and weather combine to give fantastic mountain days which make all the perseverance and suffering worthwhile.
UK mountain routes.
The short sharp bursts of gritstone edges.
Taking on sport routes looking for improvement somewhere in between the bolts.
