Have been climbing over 55 years now with variable levels (but never zero!) of activity. Grew up in Widnes and served my early apprenticeship in the 70's at Pex Hill. Spent much of the 80's in Australia, but now living in the NE and like a mix of trad, sport and (some) bouldering. Largely retired now and keen to build a bit more strength/endurance for those classic E2/E3s that have always been on the 'must do' list, before the decline begins in earnest (or has it already begun ?).Location

Hitching to Stanage/Roaches and bivvying in the caves for my first climbing trips away during the early 1970's.
Ticking Cenotaph Corner with Pete 'Repo Man' Smith and down to Llanberis for celebratory tea & scones on the last day of summer in 1972.
