Best Climbing Experience
Hard to pick just one. Some all time top experiences?
Astral Highway. 1st big route on Ben Nevis and the most scared I have ever been before starting something.
Marlena, Dunkeld. The hardest I've ever had to work for a route and the most perfect execution I've ever managed on the redpoint.
Dog Eat Dog, Northumberland. The best boulder problem in the county (and therefore the world), took me a long time back when I first did it. I never get bored of re-climbing it.
Soloing Pain Pillar. My regualr stress therapy and escape.
Orion Direct Solo. Waited years for the right day to do it and then enjoyed the whole thing bottom to top. One funny moment lookng out at the crux and wondering if I had made a small error of judgement.....
