Best Climbing Experience
Long mountain days are the best.
Particularly memorable experiences: my first ascent of Grooved Arete on Tryfan in a summer of ticking the North Wales classic VDiffs; linking up North-west Arete and 'D' Route on Gimmer Crag; many fantastic days out on the Cuillin; blasting Christmas Curry and Poor Mans Peuterey in one glorious sunny day at Tremadog; abbing off in the dusk after stealing an evening ascent of Nea in the Llanberis Pass; sea-cliff adventures in Pembroke, Cornwall and Lundy.
Many, many winter days out in the Scottish Highlands.
Finishing the day with a pint or two in a good Lakeland pub!
