Started climbing in 1963 when a member of Dublin University Climbing Club. In Ireland, climbed in Dalkey Quarry, Glendalough, Donegal, Connemara and The Mournes; In the UK in Wales, Avon Gorge, Cornwall, Scotland and the Lake District. I mainly climb now in the Lakes; also the local limestone quarries near Carnforth using solo self-belay. Most of my climbing has been at VS/HVS with occasional excursions as a second into E1.Location

Numerous! Best in the Lakes have been climbing Agony, Harlot Face, Triermain Eliminate, Thirlmere Eliminate, North Crag Eliminate, Overhanging Bastion and Zig-Zag on Castle Rock of Triermain
