I discovered the joys of climbing back in 2001 whilst living in London but after a couple of years it all stopped for various reasons and I only took it up again in 2009. With the help of UKC and the partners/friends I've met I'm having the time of my life in them there hills!Location

Best Climbing Experience
Last year (2009) was a year of firsts for me. First trad lead, first 'proper' visits to Wales, inc Pembroke and the Lakes. Enjoyed some great days in the mountains and being introduced to the delights of places such as Gogarth and Mother Carey's by my climbing guru!
However, the best experience has to be the Old Man of Hoy on a lovely sunny, blue skied day. Even getting thrown up on by a Fulmar chick didn't spoil it!
