A few years ago I left Managing The Ice Factor climbing centre in Kinlochleven to concentrate more on the outdoor side of my work as an MIC and IML. I really enjoy the parts of my jobs that involve teaching, instructing and taking people to new and interesting places in the mountains (less keen on the paperwork and the time in front of a computer). I love mountaineering in remote places and have climbed on every continent but only climbed in mainland Europe for the first time recently!
