A beautiful area, was there 25+ years ago, another part of the world where money politics and religion have got in the way of people mixing in a safe friendly way.

South Sinai? I'd say it's still safe. North Sinai - mostly no-go. But I've been taking groups of scholars, trekkers, and meditators into the south Sinai mountains and desert for the past few years perfectly safely. It's a fantastic area well worth visiting, and I would say safer than Cairo, probably safer than Rocklands, and maybe even safer than Wadi Rum.

Nice video demonstrating what's still to be found outside of the bouldering hotspots.

Would be better (IMO) if the grades were shown as the problem is being climbed, rather than having to wait until the list of climbs at the end.

Where did you enter, I came in via Eilat. That was an experience.

I got a ferry from Jordan - it turns out that this isn't the tourist route!

Dahab was lovely, although I was there for free diving rather than climbing. It'll be a lot more convenient when direct flights to Sharm el Sheikh resume.
