Beacon Climbing & Big Rock are appointing a joint marketing manager.

The job will involve a split between promoting our climbing centres (Big Rock, Beacon & Climb Rochdale) and the manufacturing & on line sales side of the business.

You will be expected to promote the climbing centres through a mix of printed material, updating web sites and helping the three centre managers with marketing ideas, etc.

The role will also involve identifying & developing sales opportunities for Beacon Climbing Holds as well as helping set up our on line sales for an expanded range of climbing products and the linked retail outlets at Big Rock & Climb Rochdale. There will also be some responsibility for producing printed marketing materials for the wall building side of our business and updating the web site.

The successful candidate will have:

Genuine interest in climbing
Proven sales & marketing experience
Excellent adobe design skills
Basic knowledge of web design
Ability to motivate others and deliver results
Good communication & written skills

The job will be based in North Wales and will occasionally involve some travelling.

Salary: £24,000
