In the position you will be responsible for opening and closing the centre, as well as ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility. This will include keeping the centre clean and tidy, upholding all CCG health and safety policies, cashing up, managing staff, dealing with customers, and promoting a good atmosphere throughout the centre.

In addition to the above, you would take control of the operational duties involved in running a large scale indoor climbing facility. These would include; staff training/development, building/wall maintenance and equipment inspection and up keep.

The role is to commence in January 2014, and would be based off a 40 hour working week, with a rolling shift pattern to include; weekdays, evenings and weekends. Experience and Qualifications

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated team leader who will ideally have the following attributes:

• Proven track record of team management or team based work
• A comprehensive understanding of health and safety protocols within indoor climbing environments
• Past experience at delivering in-house staff training, as well as plotting staff development paths
• Climbing Wall Award or Single Pitch Award

Although previous experience and qualifications would be advantageous we will consider applications from anyone who feels they could successfully fill the role.

 


Job Description – Duty Manager (Receptionist/Admin Assistant)

In the position you will be responsible for opening and closing the centre, as well as ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility. This will include keeping the centre clean and tidy, upholding all CCG health and safety policies, cashing up, managing staff, dealing customers, and promoting a good atmosphere throughout the centre.

In addition to the above, you would also be responsibility for the management of the centres administrative duties. These would include; Membership/Registration Data base, general reception/admin training, filing and archiving.

The role is to commence in January 2014, and would be based off a 40 hour working week, with a rolling shift pattern to include; weekdays, evenings and weekends. It offers both competitive pay and generous benefits, with the opportunity to work for one of the largest and fastest growing Climbing Centre Groups in the UK.

Experience and Qualifications

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated team leader who will ideally have the following attributes:

• Proven track record of either team management or team based work
• Previous admin and reception experience in a leisure based environment
• Basic understanding of Database and EPOS systems
• Climbing Wall Award or Single Pitch Award

Although previous experience and qualifications would be advantageous we will consider applications from anyone who feels they could successfully fill the role.
