Danny MacAskill headlining this year's Bike Night at Kendal Mountain Festival Press Release

IT'S BACK. THE MADDEST, BADDEST BIKE EVENT OF THE YEAR.

One of the standout events amongst Kendal’s 2016 stellar line up of films, speakers and specialist sessions the Santa Cruz Bike Session returns with a bang this November.

Featuring the top bike personalities, ace films and gear give-a-ways, alongside the usual fun, drink and music, established host Ed Oxley will this year be joined on-stage by Go-Where Scotland co-director, Aneela McKenna. Both in charge of expertly guiding the audience through the twists and turns from a memorable year of mountain biking exploits and achievements.

Headlining this year’s event is trials biking legend, Danny MacAskill. Known the world over for his superhuman bike skills and wild exploits, captured on films such as Way Back Home, Imaginate and The Ridge.

In support they’ll be a host of surprise guests including Lee Craigie – founder of The Adventure Syndicate and Dan Milner (renowned bike photographer and adventurer) who’ll present the world première of his new film, Porpoise Hunter. Other special guests stars from the world of endurance, downhill and exploration mountain biking, complete the roster.

As ever, filmmaking is at the heart off Kendal’s whole event and there’ll be a 'who's who' of the very best bike filmmaking talent, and boy, do we have some special content for you on the big screen this year!

Interviews, latest films, photography, music and the best shiny equipment all on show. It's going be one hell of a night!
