New land speed record - there was a bit of drafting involved, but 184mph - hells teeth!

Pah ! towed up to 50mph ? doesn't really count, does it ? and mph ffs !
If the 280 from Preston to Clitheroe was capable of 185 mph I'd have smashed the record before her, just by drafting.
Nothing wrong with mph
These speed records that are dependant on drafting seem a bit pointless but strike me as a pretty scary undertaking. So pretty impressive in a rather unnecessary way.

Strictly SI on UKC.
Also, kph looks even faster
In the 19th century, with someone carrying a red flag maybe.
According to Strava I did my 13 mile commute to work this morning in 2 min 57 seconds at 189.4 mph. I win!
Awesome. I remember Fred Rompelberg's crash back in the 80s. He nearly broke every bone in his body.
Enty
Chapeau!
Is there a segment where you have the KOM

True. If it's not on Strava it didn't happen
Love to know what the gearing on that bike looks like. Mine runs out of steam at about 70kph
Two sequential gears of 60/10 or such, which is why the initial towing cannot be avoided.
The gearing can be seen at 1:59 in this video:
