Cycling in Europe with kids

Last summer my family and I enjoyed 5 great days cycling around in Holland. Flat, safe dedicated cycling trails made all the difference. An added bonus was being able to leave the car in the UK and sail with the bikes.

We're now looking to do a two week trip in summer 2018. The trip will be for two weeks, though we will probably choose to stay somewhere for 3 or 4 days included in this.

Our kids are aged 4, 6 and 8. We expect to cycle up to 25 km a day.

Looking for suggestions, advice and recommendations please.
