Quite enjoying Rouvy this year - the racing scene has come on loads from last year.

Does anyone find that they often spin out and get dropped from their group when the road turns downhill? I'm running 50:11 ratio and my cadence will exceed 120 and even with 100+ watts of draft I can't keep in contact.

Also, does anyone else's little rider decide to get off their bike with about 10 seconds to go before the flag drops for one last squat thing?

What do you weigh? I've no direct experience of rouvy, but on Zwift there are a lot of big rigs that have gravity on their side on the downhills, and it's impossible to keep up. Spinning out I'd guess is also a function of your trainer, not just rouvy - but on a decent downhill IRL it's pretty easy to spin out a 50-11.

I'm using a smart-bike and haven't had that problem in 'just ride' mode.  There's a lot of activity on the Rouvy Facebook pages if you wanted to ask here.

I think the little squat is a nice little touch by the designers.

I've only been using the app since late October but I am absolutely loving it.  I was worried I'd lose motivation and the novelty would wear off but it's not happened yet.  I find I want to do more and longer rides than I have time for.  The app is cheap (the smart bike wasn't!) and I'd definitely recommend it.

68kg - When I'm out of gears outside I'm usually happy to get in an aero tuck - it doesn't seem to help in the garage!
