I am looking for an app that makes it quick and easy to put two videos next to each other so I can compare my movements to someone else's.

I looked for one a while back and only found expensive golfing ones that didn't seem worth it for my needs. I got reminded of my search today when I saw one being used in this video of Shawn Raboutou ..

Free is always good but happy to pay for one if does the trick. Anyone use an app like that? It would have to be an android app for me to use it.

Hmm, interesting. For climbing you'd want to synchronise the vids on a 'move' basis. Non-trivial to automate.

Try Coach's Eye or OnForm, both are solid for side-by-side video comparison.

If you're with a second person, just use their phone to record them and your phone for yourself. Then it's easy to hold the phones side by side, line the videos up appropriately and compare.
