Not really sure where to put this topic but is there any buildering groups in Oxford. Not bouldering, buildering.

Recently I to climbing but would like to find a group into buildering around oxford or bicester. Even bouldering if anyone knows of good boulders here. I'm not from here originally, I'm from Southampton so don't know places around here.

The A40 bridge is a great traversing wall. It's on the crag map here on ukclimbing

There are a number of circuits in Oxford, as well as the 'routes' on the disused Horspath railway bridge, described in the OAC Iffley guide.  It's on sale at Gallery Bouldering.

I take no responsibility whatsoever if you get in trouble for trying to climb any of this, mind you!

This was a while ago so he may not be able to help. You could try messaging the Oxford University Mountaineering club facebook page to see if someone still has the PDF.

Never realised that night climbing & buildering (in an Oxbridge context) were different & interested to read "Night climbing is a folly not even to be considered", have times really changed so much since I was an undergrad in the 1970s ?
