Does anyone know if the cows are in the field at crummack boulders at the moment?

Also Birchshow Rocks over the other side of the A65 is worth a look https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/birchshow_rocks-19370/ (but may actually have cows in that field too, I can't remember - they must have kept well away when I went if there were some)
Yep! The cheese block sitters are nigh on impossible! Managed Flower of Rayja, and Monterey Jack (after numerous attempts!), but couldn't start the others.
Got a little way on Hard Cheddar, but the starts to most are boggling!
