/ ellesmere port climbing wall
What happened about the proposed Ellesmere Port climbing wall?
Is it going ahead, is there a proposed opening date?
Id just found that, it wouldn't open for me earlier, thought it was an error but it looks like it was just shit broadband.
You'd think at least a 4 month process to design and build so maybe April/May?
'the first dedicated bouldering centre in the area. There are no indoor bouldering centres in Cheshire West and Chester & the nearest dedicated bouldering centre is over 30 minutes drive from Chester'
err..The Boardroom is about 10 minutes from Ellesmere Port?
Read that again...
1) The Boardroom is in Queensferry; which is in Flintshire, not Cheshire West & Chester
2a) Nearest wall is 30min drive from Chester (paraphrasing) - assuming they mean Boardroom, then the drive statistics are a bit of a stretch, but from personal experience of driving from Hoole, it can easily take that long in typical evening traffic, as there isn't a straight route on a decent road
2b) Nearest "dedicated bouldering centre" (Liverpool Hangar) certainly is >30min from Chester.
