I've been looking at extendable brushes for cleaning out of reach holds and they seem quite pricey so i'm going to make my own.

I was wondering if anyone has made their own and what materials were used? e.g what type of pole and how did you attach your brushes to the pole?

Cheers in advance

£2 extendable washing line pole from Wilko's and stuck a brush on with gaffer tape.

Not rocket science ;0)

Aye. If some of the most popular climbing wall in the country make their own, you'd be a fool to buy one.

The most badazz extendable brush belonged to some guys I met in Squish - they called it the sceptor. It had a couple of different brushes on the end and, the really cool part, a tube that went from the bottom to the top, so you could blow on the holds even if they were way the hell up there. It was also used once or twice to give someone some nutritious air when they were on the rest jugs of a longer problem.
