I'm not local so can't help with showing you around but it's easy to find everything if you've got a guide (I think from memory it's in Boulder Britain and South Wales Bouldering).
I had a couple of days bouldering there on my own last autumn and had a great time. I think you could see Carn Enoch from the car park and you can see Garn Fawr from Carn Enoch (or, at least, I would have been able to had they not been hiding in the clouds the first time I went!)
All the problems on the Western Promise/Gargoyle/Sam's Arete 'boulder' are great if you're looking for things in the 6C-7C+ range. They get a bit high though, I carried in 4 pads as I didn't have a spotter and they still got the heart racing a bit.
Pete's Slab 6A was great too. Not that high but the landing made me think.
Lots of problems aren't high and have flat, grassy landings.
