Anyone got a Simond BigBlocker? I know we're only days away from Rob's 'big pad' group test (but that's unlikely to over this one)I and  know you get what you pay for, but it's a big pad for a ver low price, so could make a good back-up pad for when the going gets high.

Any experience with it?

Cheers,

Chris

i have a simond pad and use it regularly. big, deep, tough, heavy. not soft and spongy but offers good protection. never had an issue.

Cheers. Reading some international reviews on the Decathlon site it definitely sounds at the 'firm' end of the scale.

it is firm but i prefer that tbh. i know that at least i wont shatter my heel on a stone underneath it. bottom of the pad is rubberised so has good grip and doesnt slip when you land on it. good to protect the borrom on muddy ground (burbage south boulderd im looking at you). got handles everywhere.
