Thinking of going Bouldering at wimberry tomorrow. It'll have had all day Saterday to dry. But was worried it may be wet. Anyone know how quick drying it is in winter

In reply to Ehmarra:

Could be ok, not much wind so it may not dry that easily from the morning dew.

Some bits will be a bit green.

The green bits hang on to the damp but the clean bits are ok to dry in a breeze, which there has been on Saturday so you'll find some dry stuff

Tops may be damp if there's a frost overnight, and car park will be busy if it's a nice day as forecast.

Be aware that they’ll be in the shade all day at this time of year too.. sun trap it is not, no matter how much blue sky there is!

The people living in the Forty Row would probably agree with that.

We went after rain and it was dry in October. Baildon bank was bone dry today so you have a good chance. Or if it is wet you can always go to Hobson Moor, that's usually guaranteed but not as good.

Have a good day.

Cheers for advice.

We gave it a miss and headed up to Buckstones edge and found great conditions, rock and problems
