Currently “closed”, temporarily, but thats 3 years so far. Today, bbc article putting a bit of pressure on HES/HM Liz (tho climbing not mentioned…yet)

The logbook asks us not to climb there and so risk future permission; at what point do we accept that future permission is not likely? Perhaps pressure from people circumventing the fence might actually make them more likely to reinstate something?

Do we know whether any negotiations are taking place?

According to this post: https://www.ukclimbing.com/forums/crag_access/salisbury_crags_arthurs_seat_... on an earlier thread on this subject, MCofS aka Mountaineering Scotland are in some kind of dialogue with Historic Environment Scotland aka HES (not HSE as seemed to cause some confusion on that thread).  I can't see anything on Mountaineering Scotland's web site about it, though.

There was an article about it in the Mountaineering Scotland magazine at some point last year if I remember correctly.
