The old thread wouldn't let me give it a weekend bump so here's a new one.
The restriction at Stanage Popular is still in place on Gargoyle/Black Hawk buttresses, covering Black Hawk Bastion (E3 5c) toMoss Side (E3 6a).
Happy to say the ouzels now have chicks. The adults will be making lots of feeding visits, so if you are at that end of the crag please try and give the signed area a wide berth. And maybe give a nudge to anyone who's not spotted them!
It's also a good time to get some great views of the birds. Over towards Flying Buttress a little way below the crag is a good spot out of their way to watch from. They seem to mostly be feeding directly down the hill from Gargoyle Buttress.
They probably won't fledge until next weekend, so the restriction will be in place for the whole week/bank holiday.
Also, further south, the small restriction at Calver Wall, Curbar has been lifted as the nest there has fledged.
Thanks!
