I noticed that 'A Matter of Life and Death' (the 1946 film) is on BBC iPlayer at the mo.
This film is just wonderful. It's was remastered a few years ago and it's looking gorgeous. Available to watch for the next four weeks or so.

I can't get into iplayer for a week so can't check your link. Has it been colourised? (Please tell me no. 🤞)

A classic. I think it was part colour and part b&w. A bit like the wizard of Oz, but the other way around.

Exactly so, 'Heaven' is B&W while Earth is colour. Conductor 71 makes a comment about it when he first comes to collect Peter: "One is starved for Technicolour up there."
Ooh. I'll check it out, thanks. 🙂
