If you're old enough, you may remember Biff cartoons which were the main reason (along with TV reviews by Nancy Banks-Smith and Araucaria crosswords) for buying The Guardian in the 1980s. They are available online at:

excellent! Nicely done. 'Biff' and 'IF....', almost worth the cover price of the paper by themselves

(yes, Simon4, we were all brainwashed and we laughed very hard at the cartoons being nasty to everyone in the world except Lenin... )
